CD Shop Award received!

This time, we won the "12th CD Shop Awards 2020" in the category "Classical" !
The CD Shop Award is an annual award selected only by the votes of CD shop clerks nationwide.
I am honored to receive such a prestigious award. A CD is something that can never be created alone, even if there is only one performer. Congratulations to the members of the recording team who worked behind the scenes and skillfully accomplished the process of producing this CD (b-sharp Philipp Nedel, Michael Bramann, piano engineer Gerd Finkenstein, Ryusuke Kozawa of Sony Music).
And I would like to express my gratitude to the CD shops who always sell CDs in the stores and at the performance venues, and to my family who always provide accurate and warm support.

Music Penclub Japan Award received!!

Every year, the Music Penclub Japan awards prizes to Japanese musical production and events (audio and video media produced for sale, concert performances, music-related written works, technological development) in three different categories - "Classical", "Pop" and "Audio". 160 members of the club nominate musicians, organizers, producers and authors.

The novel "Honey Bees and Distant Thunder" by Riku Onda was filmed

The novel "Mitsubachi to Enrai" ("Honey bees and Distant Thunder") by Riku Onda - which won the Naoki Award and Japan Booksellers Award Grand Prize - was filmed by Kei Ishikawa. I had the great honor to play the music for Aya Eiden (who is the central figure in the novel). The composer Dai Fujikura composed for this movie a piano solo piece "Spring and Asura". "LISTEN TO THE UNIVERSE" (the english title of the movie) will be shown from October 4th in japanese ciemenas.

By filming this novel which is about an international piano competition, I wish that the soul, the passion and the love to music of young musicians will be clearly and better received by the public.
